Will your services be covered by my insurance?
Counselling often falls under the category of ‘Extended HealthCare: Paramedical’ and each insurance plan is different. Most insurance companies provide some level of coverage for their clients, however the best way to assess this is to contact your provider directly.
Do you provide Direct Billing?
I’m not currently offering direct billing.
At this time I’m accepting all major credit cards as well as e-transfers.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
I strongly believe that mental health services should not be restricted to people due to their income level. I understand that the services I offer may be out of reach for the prices listed. For this reason I keep a few sliding scale spots open on my case load for folks who benefit from a subsidized rate.

What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24hrs notice for cancelling a session otherwise there will be a fee for late cancellation. This is a similar policy to other services such as massage therapy or dental offices. I understand that life happens and we need to make changes in our schedule. By providing me 24hrs notice it allows me to potentially fit in another client or rearrange my schedule as needed.
